A HOT DAY

 Dear Diary,

Yesterday, the temperature increased considerably and that's why people was baking hot. We stayed at home as a family and then decided to go on vacation because of the temperature. Our suitcases contained summer clothes, flip-flops, sun hats as well as many sunglasses. Actually, we only had what we needed in the suitcase. First, people placed their belongings in the hotel and went directly to the sea.

Somehow, the roads never ended. But eventually everyone reached the beach. Some people sunbathed and some swam, but I thought how they didn't sweat. Then I went out and had fun with my family.

 27- How do you handle difficult English words or phrases that you come across in your reading or listening? In Reading and Listening, I usually first draft a sentence with the words I know, but this draft exists only in my mind. Then, if I'm stuck on some words, I try to understand what they mean.
