TIME TRAVELER ALEX

ESSAY

1- Once upon a time; there was a person named Alex who loved stories about science fiction, adventure and historical. One day, Alex found himself in a special place where he could travel through time. It was like going back to the past, to the olden days. In this new place, Alex met a girl named Elena. She was brave and strong, just like Alex. They explored the ancient city together and had lots of fun. As they spent more time together, they started to feel like best friends and at that time, they sent much more time together by travelling. They discovered new strange places. In addition to this, they had the opportunity to see different creatures. When the creatures noticed them, Alex started running quickly because Alex was an incredible runner. Eventually, nobody could catch them in that planet. In contrast to Elena, Alex had to go back to his own time. Unfortunately, saying goodbye was hard, but Alex promised to remember Elena and the amazing adventure they had together. Nowadays, Alex thinks old memories and feels happy. Even though they are apart, the memories of their adventure and their romantic moments will stay with him forever. He decided not to forget the dreams that they had together and even wanted to see Elena again. As Alex returned to his own time, he couldn't find Elena. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, yet nobody was there except creatures. Despite his waiting, he couldn’t see Elena forever.

1- Bir zamanlar; bilim kurgu, macera, tarih hakkında hikayeleri seven Alex adında biri varmış. Bir gün, Alex kendini zamanda yolculuk yapabileceği özel bir yerde buldu. Bu geçmişe, eski günlere dönmek gibiydi. Bu yeni yerde Alex, Elena adında bir kızla tanıştı. Tıpkı Alex gibi cesur ve güçlüydü. Birlikte antik kenti keşfettiler ve bol bol eğlendiler. Birlikte daha fazla zaman geçirdikçe kendilerini en iyi arkadaşlar gibi hissetmeye başladılar ve o dönemde seyahat ederek birlikte daha fazla zaman geçirmeye başladılar. Sonunda, o gezegende kimse onları yakalayamadı. Elena'nın aksine Alex kendi zamanına dönmek zorundaydı. Ne yazık ki veda etmek zordu ama Alex, Elena'yı ve birlikte yaşadıkları muhteşem macerayı hatırlayacağına söz verdi. Alex bugünlerde eski anıları düşünüyor ve mutlu hissediyor. Ayrı olsalar bile maceralarının anıları ve romantik anları sonsuza kadar aklında kalacak. Birlikte kurdukları hayalleri unutmamaya karar verdi ve hatta Elena'yı yeniden görmek istedi. Alex kendi zamanına döndüğünde Elena'yı bulamadı. Günler haftalara, haftalar aylara dönüştü ama yaratıklardan başka kimse yoktu. Beklemesine rağmen Elena'yı sonsuza kadar göremeyecekti.

 27- How do you handle difficult English words or phrases that you come across in your reading or listening? In Reading and Listening, I usually first draft a sentence with the words I know, but this draft exists only in my mind. Then, if I'm stuck on some words, I try to understand what they mean.
